Function:- Helps to improve soil texture and maintain soil balance due to unbalanced application of conventional chemical fertilizers. It also helps to fill all kinds of nutrient deficiencies in the soil. It helps in exchange of nutrients required for whole crops resulting in better crop growth and increase in yield up to 20-30 percent. It also maintains the fertility of the soil.
Method of Use:- Seeds can be mixed in the basal dose or applied around the emerging plants before sowing or at the time of transplanting.

Composition:- Manures are plant and animal wastes that are used as sources of plant nutrients. They release nutrients after their decomposition. The art of collecting and using wastes from animal, human and vegetable sources for improving crop productivity is as old as agriculture. Manures are the organic materials derived from animal, human and plant residues which contain plant nutrients in complex organic forms. Manures with low nutrient content per unit quantity have good effect besides improving soil physical properties compared to fertilizer with high nutrient content.
Function:-
- Organic manure provides all the nutrients that are required by plants but in limited quantities.
- It helps in maintaining C:N ratio in the soil and also increases the fertility and productivity of the soil.
Application:- 200 kg per acre.
Crop:- Vegetable crops like Potato, Tomato, Sweet-Potato, Carrot, Radish, Onion etc., respond well to the farmyard manure. The other responsive crops are Sugarcane, Rice, Napiergrass and orchard crops like Oranges, Banana, Mango and plantation crop like Coconut.

In the soil, Silica is generally abundant as mineral quartz and clays, but its abundance in soluble form (mono-silicic acid) is highly variable.
Plants take up silicon into their root and shoot tissue but it is not returned through shoot tissue, instead it is returned through biodegradation. Silicon is deposited as silica in the plant cell walls, improving cell wall structural rigidity and strength, plant architecture and leaf erectness. In plants Si can stimulate nutrient uptake and plant photosynthesis, decrease susceptibility to disease and insect damage, alleviate water and various mineral stresses and decrease the toxic effects of aluminium
